Buying Guide For Blotters
We stock a stylish range of Leathercraft desk blotters in a variety of sizes and colours. They are available with different sizes of paper, either full demy or half demy.

There are 3 different styles also available. The first style is called commercial, which feature four corner areas to hold the blotting paper in place. The second style is called military end, which feature a hardboard back and extended areas to the left and right of the page. The final style we stock is the executive desk blotter which is a fully padded suede base with padded leather side panels and protective brass corners, for that extra special professionalism.
Using Desk Blotters
A desk pad or blotter is a table protector used when work such as painting or writing would otherwise damage the table or desk. Many companies like to decorate their boardroom table with a desk blotter at every space, to give a professional look and feel, while protecting the surface. It is always a good idea to customize the blotting paper with your logo.
Different desk pads have specific uses, for example Chinese calligraphy uses a blackvelour desk pad since Chinese calligraphy is written using an ink brush. Here in the West we tend to use simpler writing pads with disposable paper surfaces that can be used for writing, note taking, and scribbling. Often these pads are pre-printed with calendar pages.
